TOMORROW: Mural Celebration at Unidad Park
Come out to Unidad Park tomorrow for a celebration of the mural’s restoration efforts. Check out the new enhancement/additions to the mural.
The mural celebration will include live performances from Filipino cultural dance groups, guided information tours of the mural and the newly established Unidad Park and Community Garden, and free food!

Stop by Unidad Park on May 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a great afternoon with friends and family.

TONIGHT: 67th Annual FACLA Day!
On April 26, 1945, while the battle for World War is raging. Filipino-American settlers in America, farm workers, sailors and others founded the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles or FACLA. decades later they bulit a building in Temple St that was named the Cultural Center for the Filipino Americans.
On April 26, 2012, the new leadership of the New FACLA will commemorate this auspicious day by a giving the community and guests a dinner/dance party.
So enjoy the evening. eat dance and be merry! Music by maestros Buddy Reyes and David Mangona.
Suggested donations; $ 20 for donors, $ 10 for the community members and 5 $ for students.
